Flower of Life Tagua Macrame Bracelet
Macrame bracelet, hand crafted by the women of the Montubio tribe in Tosagua, Ecuador. Each piece represents the unique artistic creationne of the dozens of women involved in the macrame program in Tosagua. Made using Brazilian linen with a protective wax seal, each macrame piece connects the wearer to the ancestorial tradition of the Montubio people.
This bracelet features an image of the Flower of Life carved into the centerpiece tagua medallion.
Tagua nut, also known as vegetable ivory, is the seed of a tree similar to a palm.Each tagua piece has been individually crafted by artisans in Otovalo, Ecuador.
